Fact sheets

International Consumer Support for Infertility (iCSI) has a number of fact sheets available in several languages containing information on many aspects of infertility.  iCSi fact sheets are produced by leading health professionals and infertile people who are dedicated to helping those experiencing fertility problems.

The fact sheets are:

Building your family with the help of assisted reproductive technologies (ART)

Reproductive technologies such as IVF and ICSI are increasingly used by couples experiencing infertility. In many countries they have become standard procedures and the number of children born with their help is increasing annually. Many parents feel unsure about sharing the nature of their child's conception with their child and others.

Infertility - a fact sheet for relatives and friends

Infertility can be a very distressing experience, and it can sometimes be difficult for a friend or family member to understand what's happening. This can make things awkward and cause tension in relationships between an infertile person and the people close to them.

Approaching Life Without Children

Facing the death of a dream of having a family, often after many years of investigations and infertility treatments, can be extremely difficult to deal with.

Multiple Pregnancy and ART

The increased probability of a multiple pregnancy in ART appeals to many people who have tried unsuccessfully for many years to have children.
